I come from a long line of antique dealers, starting with my grandfather over 75 years ago. My father, Dave Crockett, founded the original Artifacts with two locations on Long Island; one in Mineola, and one in Port Jefferson. His storefronts were always filled with rare and sought after art and antiques. I spent a lot of my childhood working side by side with my family, being educated and mentored by them, and eventually gaining a formal education in Antiques and Appraisal Studies at LIU Post (Long Island University). Artifacts has sold at the NYC Armory, the Piers, the Hamptons, and have appraised on The Antiques Roadshow.
